Everett Griner talks about how farm technology has, and is, changing in today’s Agri View.
I couldn’t even guess how many times I have devoted this daily report to farm technology. Anything new that helps a man produce a bigger and better crop quickly finds a place in agriculture. It is an industry that consistently under change and under study. In fact, statistics plainly show that precision farming has become the biggest change in all of agriculture in the past decade. Farmers no longer guess how much fertilizer. Technology tells them exactly how much. And when. One doesn’t have to guess when to turn on the irrigation or how long to run it. Precision is more than a tractor that will steer itself. Agriculture is nothing like the industry it was 20 years ago. Neither are the crops. Thanks to precision agriculture.
