Sabrina Halvorson

Sabrina Halvorson is an award-winning journalist, broadcaster, and public speaker who specializes in agriculture. Having spent most of her life in California’s ag-centric Central Valley, she now divides her time between the Golden State and the Peace Garden State of North Dakota.
Halvorson has been an active member of associations such as North American Agricultural Journalists, AAEA-The Ag Communicators’ Network, the Radio, Television, Digital News Association, and the National Association of Farm Broadcasting, where she served two terms on the Board of Directors. She was selected in 2020 for participation in Trusting News, a project of the Reynolds Journalism Institute and the American Press Institute which aims to “empower journalists to take responsibility for actively demonstrating credibility and earning trust.”
Brian German
Ag-News Director & Multi-Media Journalist
Brian German joined the AgNet West team in 2017. As a radio professional, he has several years of experience working for multiple media outlets throughout the Central San Joaquin Valley. He earned his B.A. degree in mass communication and journalism from California State University Fresno.
German has always had a deep appreciation for the hard work that goes into agricultural production having grown up in the Central Valley. He has spent the last few years working specifically in the ag journalism industry, reporting on topics that affect farmers and highlighting the important role California agriculture plays in feeding the world.
