Even with a better start to the water year, there is still a bit of trepidation among cotton growers. While the overall outlook for California strawberries remains positive, the industry is continuing to assess damages related to the storms that came through the state. Ventura County avocado grower Chris Sayer described 2022 as a “banner year” for their operation at Petty Ranch.
