The University of California Cooperative Extension has produced a video with important tools for walnut growers.
Video Series Highlights Walnut Tree Techniques
With help from many other industry professionals, Cooperative Extension Pomology Farm Advisor Rachel Elkins produced a series of short videos on budding, grafting and planting walnut trees in the field. Elkins says this was a way to document the techniques of nurseryman Alex Suchan and to create a visual training tool for anyone who wants to learn the art. Elkins says everyone in the business needs these tools at some point.
