Fresno County could face another year of serious water shortages, which have a big impact on area agriculture communities. Sabrina Hill has more.

Water problems in one form or another are an issue for many growers around state. Especially in the state’s number one agriculture producing county of Fresno. Speaking at a recent Farm Forum by the Fresno Grizzlies Community Fund, General Manager of the Fresno Irrigation District, Gary Serrato, says growers in Western Fresno County continue to face serious shortages.

He says though he works for the Fresno Irrigation District, which mainly serves the opposite side of Fresno County, he’s personally aware of the problems caused by water shortages on the west side.
