Could this be the ‘El Nino’ forecasters keep talking about? High pressure systems have finally eased over California and two storms are suppose to bring rains to over 60 percent of the state for several days.

USDA Meteorologist Brad Rippey says those rains should then turn into snow after a few days. He says significant snow is expected in California’s mountain ranges through next week, which could make up for a February with little or no snowpack build-up.
