California Senator Dianne Feinstein suggested to reporters that there is a tentative deal that would resolve the long-standing dispute between growers and ag workers. Feinstein did not provide any details, except that the growers still needed to agree to the deal. Feinstein reportedly said she believes it could happen this week.

A couple of the key points in the dispute between the farm workers union and the ag industry leaders have been workers wages, and how many visa to offer in a new program for immigrant agriculture workers.

It all comes as a group of senators are working on a massive immigration bill that would help the estimated 11 million immigrants who are in the country illegally, become U.S. citizens. The bill would also change regulations at U.S. borders.
