A nematode study in tomatoes further demonstrated the importance of healthy plants when dealing with curly top virus.
Kern County Farm Advisor Joe Nunez took part in a nematode treatment study on tomatoes. The results showed a new product called Nimitz significantly reduced nematode damage. Nunez said they saw an interesting side effect from the treatments: The healthier plants stayed relatively free of curly top virus damage.
