The mayor of the Central California town of Madera is promoting his town’s agriculture base in a new way.

Mayor Brett Frazier along with several Madera residents made a parody video to the tune of the popular song Party Rock Anthem – and called it Pomegranate Rock. The video highlights all the things you can do with pomegranates, including making healthy juice and wine, or even using them for a messy batting practice. It’s all to bring attention to the city’s annual pomegranate celebration, and the pomegranate festival, Saturday, November 3 at the Madera Municipal Airport.
