Latino farmers gathered in Tulare before Thanksgiving to see the multitude of help available to producers. The 5th annual Latino Farmer Conference was held at the International Agricenter with hundreds in attendance. The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and the National Center for Appropriate Technology put on the event. NRCS California Director Carlos Suarez talks about the goal of the event, including the networking that takes place.
