The Center for Land Based Learning funds a high school program throughout California that gets students hands-on learning in all agriculture-related fields. The FARMS Leadership Program of Fresno is getting ready to expand, and has partnered with a local organization to bring a unique fundraiser to the area.
Inaugural Fundraiser Offers Unique Experience
The Fresno Grizzlies Community Fund has developed their Farm Grown Brand over the last few years by holding farm forums before the games, creating a farmers market at Friday night games and supporting education groups like the FARMS Leadership program.
