Doug DeGroff of Diversified Dairy Solutions is a dairy nutritionist from Tulare. He spoke at the World Ag Expo last week on the topic the science of forage. He said there’s a connection between what dairy cows eat, and the milk they produce.
DeGroff says it all comes down to the quality of the feed the cows receive. Higher quality feed means better results from the cow.
