It kicked off Saturday with a golf tournament and clay shoot, but now everyone’s down to business. Attendees are getting the latest information a variety of topics. Today there are sessions on endangered species regulations, current law/enforcement for pesticide container handling, transport & recycling, bee health in almonds, pesticide stewardship and food safety, and California aquatic weeds regulations.
The California Association of Pest Control Advisers represents more than 75% of the nearly 4,000 California EPA licensed pest control advisers that provide pest management consultation for the production of food, fiber and ornamental industries of this state.
CAPCA members provide crop production advice concerning land preparation, planting, fertilization, irrigation, cultivation and harvesting of food, fiber, ornamental crops and landscape settings.
