What is Strip-Tillage Farming?

Strip-tillage is a farming practice that is used on many dairies for their corn production. Sustainable Conservation and California Ag Solutions put on their third annual tour last week and showed interested growers how the system works at four Central Valley dairies. Customer Accounts Manager Mike Winemiller says the system leaves organic matter and roots in between the tilled farming area which creates a lot of added advantages.
