UAV Popularity

You know, I try to keep up with technology that has anything to do with agriculture. For the past couple of years UAV’s, or unmanned aerial vehicles, commonly called drones, have found their place in agriculture. It is still growing in popularity as farmers find new ways to use it.

A recent model, built by Yamaha, is now finding more ways to serve farmers than just to reach those hard places in the field. It has proved especially beneficial to California’s grape farmers. It carries a heavier load, which extends its use significantly.

Here is a major point. You don’t have to own the machine. You can just pay for its service. You may soon be able to lease one.

I think it is safe to say that UAV’s, or drones, have found their place in agriculture. They are here to stay.

That’s Agri View for today. I’m Everett Griner…
