You know it is bad to lose a crop to drought, bugs or disease. Even worse to harvest a very good crop and then lose it. It happened to some peanut farmers this year. As the crop is harvested the peanuts are housed in an enclosed building until they are marketed. Here is a storage building with 70,000 tons of peanuts, worth an estimated 13 million dollars and then, fire. Everett Griner tells us about this devastating event in today’s Agri View.
