Everett Griner talks about how our eating habits have changed in today’s Agri View.
You may not know it but the way you eat is changing. Perhaps I should say is has already changed. Very likely it is either organically grown or it is genetically modified. A major research center is currently studying not just how food production has changed but also how consumers are adapting to those changes. For instance over half of those involved in the research feel that organically grown food is healthier. The rest feel there is no difference. About a third of those surveyed think that genetically modified food is not as healthy as traditionally grown food. I suppose the rest doesn’t really care. The study doesn’t say so but from the numbers developed in the study it is obvious we eat what we enjoy and we just leave the rest off. GMO, organic or whatever.
