AgNet West Radio Network Now Well Established In California – Announces Staff Changes

Sabrina Hill

AgNet West is pleased to announce Sabrina Hill as its new Farm News Director.

“Considering the incredibly rapid and successful establishment of the network statewide to serve California farmers and the nation’s largest ag state, these new network role assignments are a prefect fit to match talents and needs, and to continue to establish the network’s lead position in farm broadcasting in California,” said Gary Cooper, Co-Founder and Managing Partner, AgNet West Media, LLC. Cooper is also the Founding President of Southeast AgNet, a highly successful agriculture news radio network covering Florida, Georgia and Alabama.

Hill has spent most of her life in the heart of California’s ag land. She started her journalism career as the Agriculture and Education Reporter for a daily newspaper and a short time later was hired as a News Producer for an all-news radio station in Fresno, CA. Since that time, she has expanded to not only report and produce radio news, but television as well. She hosted a local television show and was an award-winning news producer for the area’s CBS affiliate. In addition to receiving a Best Newscast award from the Radio and Television News Directors Association, Hill has been published in newspapers, magazines and college textbooks. She brings a strong news background and a passion for agriculture to AgNet West.

As Farm News Director, Hill is responsible for anchoring all programming, overseeing news posting to the online portal www.AgNetWest.com, producing the new weekly AgNet West eNews, along with in-the-field reporting and other news coverage.

AgNet West is the most local and targeted farm radio network in California, the nation’s top agricultural state. AgNet West broadcasts are localized for California listeners, and originate from Fresno County, the No. 1 agriculture county in the nation.
