Fresno’s historic KYNO 1430 AM classic hits radio station, which has been on the air in Fresno since 1963, is reaching out to the all-important Valley agriculture audience by adding a farm news/talk show to its weekday line up.
As of Monday, September 1, KYNO is airing Farm City Newsday from 5-6 am each weekday. Farm City Newsday is produced by AgNet West and currently also airs in the Merced and Tulare markets. The show is a news/talk format, featuring the latest Central Valley agriculture news and interviews, as well as the most important news gathered from around the state and nation. For the short-form feature portions of the show, AgNet West pulls together some of the top names in farm broadcasting for thought-provoking segments on a variety of timely and relevant topics.
“We’re excited to add AgNet West’s Farm City Newsday to our weekday lineup. The show fills a need for local farm news that is not only informative, but also entertaining. There’s not another show like it, and it’s a great way to start off your morning,” said Layne Ryan, KYNO General Manager.
