Val Dolcini, administrator of USDA’s Farm Service Agency (FSA) commented today updating USDA plans to extend the deadline for election of the Agricultural Risk Coverage (ARC) or Price Loss Coverage (PLC) safety net programs and the opportunity to update yield history and/or reallocate base acres. The deadline for both actions was schedule to end next Tuesday, March 31, but has been extended to April 7, 2015.
