In today’s Water Works, brought to you by AquiMax, University of California researchers have discovered that high-frequency subsurface drip irrigation is proving beneficial in a number of fruit trials. In lieu of requiring an employee to continually monitor irrigation times, Staff Research Associate at the Kearney Agricultural Research and Extension Center Becky Phene recommend using automated systems when employing high-frequency techniques with subsurface drip irrigation.
