The California Latino Water Coalition, NAACP, League of Cities Latino Caucus, and the Nisei Farmers League, are all organizing the rally, along with with other groups. They’re using the water rally to voice the importance of finding short-term water supply solutions for this year, and for legislation for building new water infrastructure. Their proposed solutions include water storage development, delta sustainability, and clean water for disadvantaged communities. In addition to the rally, they’re planning a bipartisan press conference, and door to door visits in the State Capitol.
