Jason Scott is the publisher of West Coast Nut Grower Guide, which puts on the trade show each year. He says growers will have the opportunity to learn about several topics, including new requirements for electronic reporting and heat illness and night work activities. Members of the California Walnut Board will also be on hand to give a presentation.
In addition to the educational seminars, Scott says the trade show is bigger this year. He says though the show has only been around a few years, it’s growing fast, and that’s because it’s for a very targeted audience.
The Walnut Trade Show is free for growers and PCAs. It is this Friday, January 10th, at the Yuba-Sutter Fairgrounds, in Yuba City.
