The CAPCA Ed vegetable meeting is September 17th in Santa Maria.
Attendees will get information on new laws and regulations, and hear about vegetable disease epidemiology. Other topics include E. coli and leafy greens, proper pesticide use, managing thrips on lettuce, aphids on broccoli, and the new invasive pest Bagrada bug on cole crops, nutrient management studies for cool season vegetables, postharvest handling update for leafy vegetables, and unmanned drones for pesticide applications.
