The University of California Cooperative Extension will be having a vegetable crop research update on May 27th at the UC Westside Research and Extension Center in Five Points, California.
Vegetable Crop Research Update Coming Up
The event starts at 9:00 a.m. and will have several advisors presenting on the latest finding on vegetable crop pests. UC Davis Plant Pathologists will be presenting on a pest management system that predicts the most efficient times to apply pest prevention products. Robert Gilbertson, Professor of Plant Pathology at UC Davis, will talk about virus, biology and management, including how they have applied the pest management model to fight against thrips in tomato crops.
