Scott Park of Park Farming in Meridian, California, says about his experience with soil health: “My whole farming system is driven by building up the soil and the practices actually works out to be 5 C’s so number one’s cover crop, number 2 is crop rotation, number 3 is compost, number 4 is conservation tillage and number 5 is controlled traffic and each one of them has their own value but you can’t, from my perspective, you can’t pull one out from the other five.”
