An outbound trade mission to California’s southern neighbor for specialty crop suppliers is coming up in a few months.

The California Center for International Trade Development, also known as CITD, is putting together a trip to Mexico for certified California specialty crop suppliers. CITD says the event is an opportunity to help grow specialty crop markets in the region. Participants will get a chance to meet with dozens of buyers from multiple areas in Mexico and get feedback on products.

CITD said California suppliers of tree fruit, vegetables, avocados, grapes, citrus, bulk dried fruit bulk nuts and Consumer-Oriented Products like jams, wine, and sauces are good candidates for the trade mission.

The trip will take place on October 1 through October 5. Space is limited to 10 companies and is $250 per person. Registration includes hotel, in-country transport, and one-on-one meetings. The application deadline is September 16th and can be filled out online at www.fresnocitd.org.
