You’ll find characters like Elsa and Anna from Frozen, and Captain America and Thor. Even Darth Vader is moving to the lighter side of food – healthy produce, that is. Those characters and more will now be found in your produce section.
Sergio Baez, senior licensing manager of the Walt Disney Company, says the mega company is using its famous characters to get kids to eat more healthy snacks. Baez was present as the promotion officially kicked off at the PMA Fresh Summit convention in Atlanta, Georgia.
Baez says there’s no current end date for the promotion, and Disney hopes to keep it running for as long as possible.
