Recycled Water Safety Concerns
Robert Holden, Principal Engineer at the Monterey Regional Water Pollution Control Agency, says their facility supplies recycled water to 12,000 acres of farmland. Holden says the near future will bring safe recycled water to our faucets. Many people question that prediction, but Holden says it’s hard to prove otherwise. Orange County is already using indirect recycled water and officials say direct potable water is not far off.
