
Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue said last week’s trade talks between President Trump and Chinese officials were in, “good spirit.” Progress can still be made but a letter delivered by China’s Vice-Premier Liu He showed a trade resolution could be nearing. China recently made a significant purchase of U.S. soybeans and during the talks pledged to make an additional purchase. Secretary Perdue added Trump is holding tight on making sure a trade deal with China has all the structural kinks ironed out to provide long term benefits for America.
