The use of drone technology isn’t just in the air.
At the 2014 CAPCA conference, owner of Drone Rangers Ag and High Tech Drones Nathan Miller showed attendees how vineyards were using small robots called Wall-Ye Vines to cordon-prune plants. Miller said the robots allow some Napa vineyards to predict year-to-year how their crop will look.
