Peanut Price Highlights
Peanut prices received by farmers for all farmer stock peanuts averaged 23.6 cents per pound for the week ending May 10, down 0.8 cent from the previous week. Marketings of all farmer stock peanuts for the week ending May 10 totaled 306 million pounds, up 212 million pounds from the previous week.
Runner-type peanut prices averaged 23.0 cents per pound for the week ending May 10, up 0.4 cent from the previous week. Marketings of runner-type peanuts were 277 million pounds, up 224 million pounds from the previous week.
