Trap in citrus tree for ACP
The Citrus Pest and Disease Prevention Program is aiming to educate the northern California citrus industry on Asian citrus psyllid management as the pest continues to move up the state.

From: CitrusInsider.org
The Asian citrus psyllid is the most serious threat the California citrus industry has ever faced. While the psyllid has fortunately not been found in Placer, Glenn, Butte and surrounding counties, it appears to be steadily making its way north and has been identified in the Bay Area and San Joaquin County.

To help prepare the Northern California citrus industry and stop the spread of this dangerous pest and the fatal tree disease it can carry, called Huanglongbing, full knowledge and cooperation is critical. Commercial growers, wholesale and retail nurseries, and pest control advisors are encouraged to attend an informational meeting hosted by the Citrus Pest & Disease Prevention Program and the California Department of Food and Agriculture.

Space is limited so please RSVP here or via email to info@citrusinsider.org.
