The new sap sensors rolling onto the market are reminiscent of blood pressure cuffs. Installation involves simply wrapping it around a tree branch and covering it with insulation. This new application allows growers to move a sensor without a big production. Dynamax Fresno Representative Daniel Britton says growers know how their fields work and these cuffs can allow them to pinpoint variances.
