New Drone for Pesticide Application
At the 2014 California Association of Pest Control Advisers annual convention in Anaheim last month, attendees were introduced to the Yamaha RMAX. The RMAX is an unmanned, small-scale helicopter about the size of a large mountain bike. Professor of Biological and Agricultural Engineering at UC Davis Ken Giles says they served as the testing partner for the aircraft.
