The movie is about the growing numbers of combat veterans who are transitioning into careers as farmers, ranchers and artisan food producers.
Ms. Ellis was a Script Supervisor for feature films and television taught the craft for several years. She became an Associate Producer of documentary films in 1990. There, she was part of the producing team for four documentaries including – MIGHTY TIMES, THE LEGACY OF ROSA PARKS – which was nominated for an Academy Award.
