Cooperative Extension Integrated Pest Management Advisor Emily Symmes says the almond industry seemed prepared for the high navel orangeworm pressure this season and continued monitoring throughout the season will help growers. Symmes says the continued drought seems to be at least part of the reason the unusual pest timing is happening.
