Milk Pricing Complexity Leads Dairy Conference

Milk pricing lead the topics at a recent California dairy conference and experts said that nobody really knows what the future holds.

Bank of America executive for food, agriculture and wine, Cornelius Gallagher, talked to attendees at the inaugural Golden State Dairy Conference about predicting milk prices. Gallagher says any forecasting outside of a few months is almost a complete guess. He says there are too many factors involved that have nothing to do with agriculture to make those types of predictions accurately.
