The dairy industry continues to be put under pressure while farms big and small are closing nationwide. Farmers tried to make due with what they had, producing more when the market was down just to stay afloat. Now, a market analyst said the expansion of farms during that time could have hurt the industry as a whole in the long run. Bryan Doherty of Stewart Peters say the industry needs a push in the right direction to get the market back up.
