You can have gorgeous houseplants that don’t require a lot of your time or energy to take care of them. And, these easy indoor plants can thrive with minimal care or maintenance. They also don’t require a lot of sun, water, or space to thrive.
The Spider Plant – highly resistant to drought or bugs – and also one of the best plants if you have pets, as its non-toxic.
Peace Lilies can live off of fluorescent bulbs and also work to filter harmful toxins from your home, according to a NASA study.
If there were a plant to thrive the most on neglect, the ZZ plant is a top contender. The rubbery leaves need moderate to low light and very little water, making them perfect for an office or beginner.
Other notable mentions include the Bamboo Palm, Begonia, Rubber Plant, Dwarf Date Palm, Air Plant, and Jade Plant.
If you’re known for having a black thumb, the Cast Iron Plant might be right for you. It’s probably the toughest plant that could survive in even the harshest of settings.
