Fresh Express is voluntarily recalling bagged spinach after USDA inspectors detected Salmonella in a random inspection.
The recall is on select bags of pre-washed salad. The bags were distributed to 18 states, including California. The recall is for 9-ounce packages of Fresh Express spinach with the use-by date of Nov. 7, and product code of S299B25.
No illnesses have been reported.
