This is the third week Corryn has featured her Salinas Valley Fair interviews, but this time she is including her interviews she had with the Champions of each species.
First she spoke to Kaela Cooper, a Templeton FFA member who won Reserve Grand Champion with her goat. She told Corryn that she put a lot of hours into her project and was very excited when she won. Kaela also explains the importance of the FFA Association and the opportunity to raise animals.
Next Corryn was able to chat with Grace Crummey, from Spring 4-H about her Grand Champion Pig. Crummey explains to the general public that these animals have a purpose in their lives and that is to feed the world, and by being their caretaker, she’s making sure their life is the best it can be.
And when Corryn found the Grand Champion Lamb, she talked with Russell Whitacre from Atascadero FFA about his project and his success.
