After starting with more than a hundred entries from across the country, then narrowed down to nine finalists including a northern California turkey farmer – the winners of the Faces of Farming and Ranching Contest are finally in.
The U.S. Farmers and Ranchers Alliance announced four winners of their Faces of Farming and Ranching Contest. Tim Nilsen, Turkey farm in Wilton, just south of Sacramento came up a little short in voting for this online contest. Instead, the four winners are Chris Chinn of Missouri, Katie Pratt from Illinois, Bo Stone in North Carolina… and Will Gilmer dairy farmer in Alabama. The winners will share their stories and experiences to help answer consumer questions about how raising and growing food in America.
