A joint project is testing sorghum to see what genetics in a plant leads to drought tolerance.

Drought Tolerance Focus of Sorghum Project

The Kearney Agricultural Research and Extension Center is part of a group looking at the drought tolerance of sorghum. Center Director Jeff Dahlberg says identifying what gives the plant those traits is the goal.
