A study by University of California-Davis (UC-Davis) that is looking at recharging groundwater levels by winter flooding of farmland and crops with a winter dormancy is showing good results.

UC Davis assistant professor in hydrological sciences Helen Dahlke says researchers are seeing some crops handle storm water winter flooding well and others are being tested around the state.
