Test results are back and the Asian citrus psyllids found in Dinuba recently were not carrying Huanglongbing disease. We first reported on the discovery of hundreds of psyllids when it was announced last week. The insects were in various life stages, which concerns ag officials because it indicates a strong breeding population.

While not a problem to humans, Huanglongbing disease damages and kills citrus trees. So far, the disease has only been found in one tree in this state, however there have been several findings of the psyllid.
