The Fresno-Kings County CattleWomen is a nonprofit organization that promotes the beef industry through things like educational programs, public outreach and a scholarship program. It’s part of the statewide California CattleWomen, which also works to educate the public about beef. Board member and publicity chairperson Suzanne Ward says the Fresno-Kings group is raising money for their scholarships and other programs with their 16th annual fundraiser.

The fundraiser is August 17th at the Clovis Rodeo Hall in Clovis, and includes cocktails, dinner, auctions, and games for the kids. flyer

If you’re not in their area, you can still help out by sending a donation. In addition to financial donations, they’re taking items and service donations for their silent auction.
