CA Turkey Farmer Finalist in Competition

Taylor HillmanGeneral

Contest
A Northern California turkey farmer is a national finalist to become the face for a newly formed alliance of farmers and ranchers.

Tim Nilsen is one of nine finalists and the only one from California competing for your vote.

The U.S. Farmers and Ranchers Alliance is posting all nine finalists on their website, each telling his and her stories about their farms and ranches with a video.
The faces of farming and ranching contest is an opportunity for Tim Nilsen to talk for three minutes about his Turkey farm in Wilton, just south of Sacramento.

Nilsen says his turkey farm is one of the most state of the art poultry facilities in the nation, winning awards and always looking for ways to maximize production while minimizing expenses.

You can watch the entire video with Tim Nilsen, just go to http://www.fooddialogues.com and click onto the New Faces of Farming and Ranching.

The contest ends Saturday, December 15th.
