Apple Cider Vinegar Hacks for Cleaning
Apple Cider Vinegar can liven up your lettuce and keep your house clean without chemicals.
Like all vinegar, apple cider vinegar has potent antimicrobial properties and contains no harmful ingredients. Studies have shown that vinegar can disinfect just as well as bleach. But it’s safer for your family and the planet.
To get rid of germs on digital devices such as your smartphone, tablet or computer, simply wipe with apple cider vinegar until their shiny again. Use it to unstick scissors, remove candle wax, inks stains from walls and floors, even unclog drains. Mix ½ cup baking soda with 1 cup vinegar and pour into your drain for a volcano effect.
De-mildew your bathtub and shower curtain, and clean your washing machine. ACV can even freshen and brighten clothes, get rid of ring around the color, and de-wrinkle clothes if ironing isn’t your thing. Other household uses include cleaning the toilet, tub and sink, remove water stains from furniture, washing and deodorizing carpets, even cleaning piano keys. Apple Cider vinegar is even great to use for polishing silver, bronze and copper. For sanitizing and reusing jars, so that they don’t end up in a landfill, disinfect with a 1 to 1 ratio of vinegar and warm soapy water and scrub well. There are so many cleaning uses with Apple Cider, and there’s aren’t even the half of them.
