Almond Update: Subjective Forecast Expected, Low Carry-Over for 2019

The National Agricultural Statistics Service released their subjective forecast report for California almonds and the numbers are right where the industry expected with an increase over last year. Another report also showed that unsold inventory is much less than in 2018 and Almond Board of California President and CEO Richard Waycott said that the market is setting up nicely for a big 2019 crop, even with trade issues in two major markets.
